The new funding for boarding will be comming mostly from donors and won't need much funding from the tuition hike. Besides not many people want the school to be more socio-economicly diversified and theres already scholerships for those who are not as well off as others, its just not well advertised. Our endowment is huge. Not many people know of UCC. We're rarely in the paper as an actual advertisement. Most of the people who do enroll are already the ones who are well off because its the well off ones that know of top tier institutions. Becoming more socio-economically diverse cannot happen by just giving out more scholarships, we already have that. We have to start advertising and scouting more in the GTA instead of just Quebec, the maritimes, Asia and Western Europe. I shall go tell Power that next lunch time lawl. AOSIJGAOSIJDAOISJF! This could actually make the school more diverse because there's only like 4 black kids in the entire school. Not to be racist but it is true that black people are generally less well off and this could help diversify the school. Meh whatever. No!
