Question. What does John Mayer have that makes him so… … … successful? He’s an idiot. He can’t sing, his voice is demented, it can’t even be called a voice, and he’s stuck up to the point that if we had to deflate his head with a bike tire deflator thing, it’d take seven years.
First, let’s examine his “voice”, if you can call it a voice. It’s a rasp. It’s deathly quiet. Have you heard of the days when good, strong voices were valued? His voice is as wuffy and soft as Sarah McLachlan’s, but I’ll get to her some other time. I can barely hear him over his drums and guitars [that he manages to bribe people to play]. He actually doesn’t have any talent, by means of his voice and singing ability. At all.
His head. It needs to have some serious deflation. He thinks he’s at a “high point” in his career where he’s better than everyone else. He “rarely meets anyone who can be of benefit to him; most of the time they just bring him down”. He said so in an interview with the Globe and Mail. He’s totally aloof in his ways and actually thinks he does good to other people. It’s just they don’t help him at all. All his “charity work”? Yeah. He does wonderful stuff for other people. We just have to appreciate him in our lowliness and try as hard as we can to shrink from him, lest we “bring him down”.
His image. He’s not even that good looking, if you think about it. His face is too wide and angular; he looks like an overgrown baby, and he has a slight potbelly. Now, I’m not one to judge people by their looks. I don’t like people just because they look good. But there are some people who do, and I fail to understand them on the subject of John Mayer [in general, too]. I’m at a complete loss as to why. Why. Why.
Why is he even famous? Why does he even have his position and job? I bet there are many, many, talented people in the shadows who are much, much better than him. He’s had his opportunity. His chance on stage. I’m not impressed.
Boo.
